The low end one is already out but called 8800GT which i find strange.

The next one up is the 9200 and is out next year, the top end one, 9800GTX will be double the power of an 8800GTS

and would this mean geforce 9 is the same as ati's 3800

The 8900 was a rumour i believe, the first low end 9series was released under the name as 8800GT

Ati's 3800's arn't benchmarking that good :(
