Im going to say its true, but he did do at-least some moding before they tried it(anything is small as making the terminals from the battery connect to a stand molex)

I have to say false in the hope that he hadn't managed to connect the battery. I would suggest he wanted to start it but didn't know how, so rang up the technical people!

false for me..... it's really not true, cos even the retard type know a bit about cars, so know that car batteries are FOR CARS... and the intelligent types don't know anything about cars, necessarily, but do know that mixing two completely different things is very, very dumb.

ahh a classic... it is false - but it is loosely based on a customer from the the old days.

He kept a car battery in his boot - when he couldnt get a motherboard to work, he dragged cables attached to the battery over his motherboard to ensure he got a refund.

We only found out when we spotted him doing it in the car park :D

I remember him well.

He was fairly inept and could never figure out all the manual jumpers you have to use on these old boards. So it was easier for him to blast 12V across it than try and explain what was going wrong.

I take it I have a long list to choose from? :)
