If your an Old fuddy Duddy Floyd Head like me...Youll be intrested to know, that the worlds finest Pink Floyd Tribute Band Australian Pink Floyd are touring the UK once more, Ive seen probably every Floyd rip outfit know to man, most of em suck, to be really honest though...these Guys are the real deal Ive seen em about 3-4 times now..Brilliant every time.

Im off once more on Saturday night for some Big top splendidness with me old mates The Aussie Floyd...wahey...!!!!

Hi Luc..

Its in a big tent near the albert dock in liverpool(stanley dock to be exact.)

Probably for the last year, in the tent as their building a stadium, with all their capital of culture money.

Well, what Can I say....Blown away once more Saturday night, by the Aussie Floyd, superb... :wink:

Thousands of Floyd Heads singing in unison...to all the Floyd Hits...a miriad of multi coloured lasers, and lights...topped off with a 30 ft pink kangeroo, which always gets a really good cheer.

Brilliant stuff :lol: :lol:

Gig Night Shedule:

4.30 Meet up with Brother in law and 3 good mates, in my local pub consumed 2 Pints of Lager and 1 Vodka n Coke.

5.30 Tunnel Bus ride to Liverpool, hit various bars, stayed on the Lager.

6.30 Headed for Coopers Bar near Albert Dock, met up with the rest of the clan, bout 10 regular Floyd gig goers, plus a couple of virgins new to it this year, was quite naughty and because I was loaded that night decided to buy everyone in the Poss'e a Flaming Sambuka...all was downed in one...and the usual face pulling head grasping effect was to be enjoyed by all. (Note always try blow the fire out before consumtion of Sambuka)

7.30 Head for the Gig, bit of a walk but we made it in one peice, headed for the bar, to pay the usual extortionate prices for liquid refreshment, gig started, and mucho hugging and dancing was had by all.

10.00 Headed back to Coopers Bar, for the after gig party, hit another Sambuka, then a Vodka n Coke, and yet more Lager, started singing and dancing madly to any and every song that came on, said my goodbuys to all the slackers, who dart home early.(makes sense with a taxi costing bout 20 quid over the water.

12.00 Did the rounds in a few Bars up Mathew street, danced me socks off, had some nasty, flavoured Vodka drinks, ya know the ones with the likes of Christmas dinner flavour, found the turkish Delight and Jelly bean to be nicest on the menu.

2.00 Headed back to our side of the water, (rubbish clubs, violent people, and taxis are very few and far between. got Knocked back from the first club, as we were looking a bit worse for wear at this stage.
Managed to get in another place which was heaving, got my Vodka Knocked all down my shirt by some butt ugly princess who was trying to dance with me, soon dried out with the sweltering heat of the place, 3 of us left at this stage, gets Brother in law safely into a taxi, then there were 2, time to move on and find the Sambuka Bar...waheyy...!!
places are starting to close and theres peeps/police everywhere we just managed to squeez past the bouncers, in a most unsavory club, fortunately they sold the Flamers, so cunningly I order 6 Sambukas, 3 each, to be downed one after the other as an end of the night toast.

3.00 waiting in taxi rank...back of the qeue, my mate starts falling asleep at this stage, after about a near 2 hour wait, I finally arrive home @ 4.50, erm with no house keys, so have to knock the missus out of bed, of which she was most pleased by(Not)...hit the sack, and woke the next day with a wicked hangover that lasted most of sunday, so decided to go watch Top gear in the local with a couple of hair of the dog type bevies.

Cant wait till next years Gig... :lol:
