So, the other morning i rolled out of bed, hobbled over to my ol' rig and turned it on... but after a second or two, it died! Tried pressing the power button again, no response. I paused for a moment to consider my options, then decided to use my mad technical skills to hold down the power button while wiggling the power cable. It kicked back into life... for about a minute. Since then i haven't been able to recreate this miracle at all. Is it safe to assume the PSU has bought the farm?

Here's (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Xilence+600W+Gaming+Edition+PSU+?productId=27930) the deceased, now discontinued. I suppose i'll need a replacement but i'm really not sure what to get! Could there be compatability issues or is it just a case of matching the wattage? I cast an eye over the site and found this (http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/OCZ+StealthXStream+2+600W+Power+Supply+?productId= 40944). How about it? Seems like a good price!

I appreciate any help or advice you can give. :)

That OCZ is a good PSU I think.

That one is also good.

"As 'ol Jack Burton would say..." buy a new PSU, that 600W OCZ is great performing PSU and at a very attractive price
