Should I sell my HD 5770 for £80 on the bay?

With the money I'd buy either:

EVGA GTX 460 768MB
EVGA GTX 460 1024MB

Should I pay the extra £25 for that extra RAM or not.

Should I even sell my HD 5770?

Didn't think they fetched that much o.O

So its a yes from me - but only if you think the 460 is going to bring you *that* much more performance.

They fetch about £70 here, so £80 on the bay ;)

What, the 768MB one?

Also, it'll depend on what I can afford.

Whether I get that DFI board or give up waiting and get an AM3 board and stick my RAM up for sale with the rest of my rig.

EDIT: 1920 x 1080

I thought you was after the 768MB one (which performs very well for its price.)

If you were to spend the extra on the 1GB one however i wonder if it would be better for you just to get a second 5770.

Obviously, clocking the 1GB card up can get you 5850 speeds, even close to a 5870 in some cases.

Well since you already have the 5770 I would say don't bother just yet. But if you were to bother then yes put in the extra £25 for the extra ram, games like GTA IV like more RAM and plus you get a little extra performance with the 1gb version.

Hate ATI cards.

I keep getting this glitch were my cursor goes mental, like grainy and distorted. Snakedoc had the same problem with his HD 5970.

I'll just stick with nVidia from now on :P

I also liked the sound of 3D Vision.

But that'll be a BIG system revamp (e.g. Sandy Bridge)
