New build HTPC

OK, like the title says, I'm building myself a HTPC, for a few reasons, Mainly to replace the DVD recorder, and my upscaling DVD player, and eventually to get a Blu ray, and HD dvd player in one box. Also it'll be nice to use the net, or do some light gaming on a big screen.

So far I have:

Asus M2A-VM HDMI: not sold by aria, its an AM2 uATX mobo
A+ Blockbuster II Case: again not done by aria,
Xilence Redwing case fans (3x80mm and 1x120mm, mounted on silicone mounts)

Initially, I intend to get the rest from aria in one go, which will be:

whatever SATA DVD writer is going for a good price

At a later date when funds allow I'll be fitting:

I'll be getting a graphics card that can handle HD properly as soon as I can,
plus a Blu ray player,
and an HD dvd player.

Obviously I'd like it to be quiet, but will this be ok for what i need?

Any suggestions of things that could be altered to make it a more rounded system, or indeed components that could be swapped for quieter items?

Get a 2600pro silent if you want graphics through a hdmi natively. That will be silent as its passive and will play the occasional game.

As for HD/Blu ray, just wait and see what cheap one you can get, hd dvd seems to be the way to go for more advanced and cheaper tech.
