Nice welcome to the forum...

PCI-E probably isnt an option, if his motherboard doesnt have a PCI-E slot. Which, as he's asking for an AGP card suggestion, im guessing probably doesnt.
So for a good AGP card, you are probably looking at something like an Nvidia7800/7900 or even better, an ATI X1950 in AGP flavour. They are about as good as you will get without completely upgrading your rig.

Hope that helps :)

If you don't want to go PCI-e below link is the ONLY option, everything else will give you a slideshow

Is there any need for that you fool, all i was doing was recommmending PCI-E as it is alot better and will last longer, and also give high performance

lol Lee if you read i wasnt the first guy or the only one to suggest to you get a PCI-Express. The reason we are suggesting you get a PCI-Express and not an APG is simple, PCI-Express are 100 time better than AGP. As i said to you in Binary Coding your better off with a PCI-Express seeing how your motherboard takes PCI-Express.

Nice welcome to the forum...:rolleyes:lol dont worry, he is in my class at college.

Eh? Simon? :Oanother noob in my class at college.

if it has to be agp the only real option for gaming is 1950 pro (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/AGP/ATI+Radeon+X1900+Series/Sapphire+Radeon+X1950+Pro+512MB+AGP+?productId=265 95)

cheaper an not as good but will play cod4 np on low res. 76gt (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/AGP/nVIDIA+GeForce+7+Series/nVidia+GeForce+7600GT+512MB+AGP+?productId=28435) or a 2600 (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/AGP/ATI+Radeon+2000+Series/) not sure how these 2 compare but i would geuse it depends on which game tbh.

I had this card and it did play COD 4

For about 5 minutes, then the PC would make a weird sound and shut down

On any game

In any PC

Hmmm..... VPU recovery springs to mind :P
