Last week, Gigabyte invited myself and Mishima to their SOC media presentation in London where they were talking about some of their upcoming products, most notably their Super Overclock GTX480.
So I thought I'd write an article on it:

if this is anything like that oc 270 they did with double the ram it will be a monster on the sly :thumb:

The new cards should be similar or even better than what the SOC GTX275/260 offered over the standard cards at the time. :thumb:
The main problem will be the price. The GTX470 variant is meant to be $370...
See if you can find out what about the next range of cards they are releasing i wonder how far behind nvidia are from amd

does it squeal?
I feel its a bit late for such a card though.
I mean the 6 Series is imminent, i'm sure the 6870 will beat it and be considerably cheaper, then theres the rumoured "full fat" Fermi thats got all 512 shaders or something.
Or perhaps a heavily OC'ed dual GTX460, considering how cool they are they could probably get three on a single PCB.
