I need a 21-22" monitor for anything upto £170, needs to be good, and last, not £50 and breaks in a week job.
Thanks.
Wide screen or normal?
I'll assume widescreen, http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Displays/Monitors/TFT+20+-+23/Asus+VW222S+22%22+Widescreen+TFT+Monitor?productId =28878
The Samsung Pebble is supposed to be good too but Aria don't stock it and im not sure of price off the top of my head.

I did, hence the quickcodes, but i want to know a high quality one, or what is better from the above 3.
Just forget it.
Of the ones you chose i'd go with the Hyundai N220W-D Widescreen TFT 5ms Quickcode: #27087 simply because it has extra video inputs for multiple pcs or possibly game consoles.
Slightly over what you want to pay, its the monitor i have had for about 4 months now and am VERY happy with it :D the LG 226WTQ

you guys are lucky, if i had the room i would actually buy a massive LCD HD Ready TV and use it as a monitor, but because of where my pc is and everything the biggest screen i can have is a 19" tft :(
I was thinking about buying a 32" LCD TV screen when I do a new build, and see if thats better than a dual screen setup!
I would rather keep my 19" and run at 1280x1024 and get good FPS, than go high res and play a slideshow
lol, but 19" is to small for me (well i think it is)

You might want to check out the resolution of TV's as the native res of my 32" tv is 1360x768, at this res the picture is great for my media centre but i wouldn't want to use it for surfing the net etc, it can do alot higher but you get into interlaced modes and the picture quality suffers for text etc.
Yeah, I agree.. Ive used my laptop on my 37" TV, which can go up to 1080p (1920x1080). Surfing, games etc etc.. they all looked great! :D
Well I got this screen and i must admit it's nice,

i would highly recomend it, no doubt.

yea, when i was alone for 2 weeks and had the house to my self i plugged my pc onto my 42" Plasma and gaming on it was just awsome. But i got a bit scared when not playing games as still images can put the pixels on a Plasma so the next day i just disconnected it all and went back to my crappy 19" tft, but gaming is great on a big screen and 7.1 sound !
