Samsung Continuum

basically this is the next samsung phone its like a galaxy s but it has a 2nd small screen underneath the normal screen that is like a widget..

im not sure about this.. i got excited about a 2 screen phone thinking it would be like a DS or clamshell but with 2 screens which ive seen at tech expos etc.. but never in "real life"

under the menu search etc.. buttons there is a small screen with the weather and the time on it...

what do you guys think ?? too gimmicky? and you will need a custom build of android so updates will be few and far between...

Wonder how the dimensions have changed to adapt for the extra screen.
It's not really for me, why have a phone with a lovely Super AMOLED display, and then shove a tatty little thing below it? It goes right over my head...

the original screen is the same as the galaxy the 2nd screen is just like the ones on the rear you had in flip phones. i think the bigger 4.3 inch screens on the HD and the EVO and the droid-x are the way forward and this is a stupid idea :) but samsung know their stuff i might be wrong..

I gotta agree. It's one single large screen all the way for me. Esp. with the second screen needing mounting etc. so will add extra bulk to the phone.
