Hiya,

I've an outstanding order which you have already taken payment (EC893472).

I understand that all 8800GT's are currently out of stock.

I spoke to a Customer care chap who has taken a little extra payment so that when the EVGA 8800GT comes into stock you can send it out. According to your site, they are due in today - can you find out if this is a certainty?

I'm in quite an urgent need for this card as I'm without a computer at home.

I'd like to know definitely if ANY 8800GT's are going to be in stock within the next couple of days - if not I'll find a temporary solution.

Thanks

Jason

Forget the 8range now, wait for the N92series GTX - double the power of an Ultra

sent an email to sales@ & cserv@ to cancel the above order.

Going to wait for the dust to settle between these cards.

Pete - and no doubt it'll be about £400

Micky - the ATI cards were about £130 (from Overclockers site - they were taken back down again swiftly)

Yeah i'd wait for the 9 series, and forget ATI too.

If Crysis can make an 8 series card struggle what hope is there for 2008 games. A 9 series will be needed. Hold on is very good advice.

Even if you are set on getting an 8xxx series card, the 9xxx series cards are just around the corner, and will force a price drop in the 8 series!

yep, but by how much?

Does it make top end 8800 cards struggle?

Will a quad core 2.4GHz be alright with a 9series card?

My opinion is that you can wait forever. Either buy now and enjoy or wait anxiously for as long as it takes. Cards are always too expensive when released anyway. It's better to buy the old cards when the price is dropping.
