I have a 3 mobile, and use it to surf the web via wireless tethering sometimes and it's quite good.

i use my samsung galaxy S to get online at home.

Turn on "Wireless AP" in the menu and get blazing 0.28 download speeds :D

i'm ringing tmobile today to get the cap removed so hopefully should be getting 3meg by end of the day

We always try to use our 3 PayAsYouGo dongle when we go away on hols in the UK, but unfortunately the last three places we've been have been ZERO 3 coverage (Snowdon and Suffolk), we ended up using a 02 dongle instead, which was okay, nothing spectacular, but at least it worked.

i went away to shell island and got a decent connection rate down there for a while bu atm i have seen 3 are doing alot of satalite upgrades so that they can provide more service where ever you go and i have also noticed at snowdon i cant get signal for my 3 phone or dongle

I used a 3 dongle when my internet was down for 5 weeks, and now my girlfriend is using it while her internet gets sorted out..

Found it to be very good actually. I've only done 4 speed tests, but I normally get between a 2 and 4mb connection. Once it dropped down to 1.5mb but thats still fine for just browsing and sending emails... :)

To be fair, I had already checked on the 3 map, so was prepared for no signal, hence why I took the 02 one as well, and I bought the 3 dongle whilst in Edinburgh, where it worked just fine and dandy.

If I have no internet I just use my iPhone to tether the internet. I get roughly 0.81Mb/s down and 0.25Mb/s up sitting at home like I am now. Pings are a touch too high to play games though! 300ms ping for the win?

Currently have one to two bars of signal out of 5 on iOS4.1.

Well, I've never had a problem with Sky so I would recommend them but everyone has their opinions and personal experiences of a certain ISP they have been with.

i was on a 3 dongle at the start of the year and it was so slow, .5meg tops but then again it was also cheap as chips.

im using my desire now on voda and i have hit 4.5meg on speedtest in the middle of the night and tend to get around 2.5 thru the day.

i did some seraching before i got this contract and the 3 mast is miles away which is why it was so bad for me while voda and orange both have theirs just yards up the road :thumb:

mines £35/m and i get 600 voice, unlim txt and data but i got a txt from them last night saying my data bundle runs out on the 1st and i wanted to phone them today to find out wtf thats about, as yet it had slipped my mind.
