So the HD6000 series is launching on October 12th.

Am wondering if Aria is going to have any of the cards on launch day?

aaah! 1 week after my 18th! deffos getting one i think :rolleyes: please Aria try and get them in for launch day that would be amazing :thumb:

Yeah Nvidia is set to drop prices again, so do i sell my GTX460 and get a HD6770 or get another GTX460?

@Zodiark, no Fudzilla updated it, released on 12th.

ok bud guess well have to wait a bit for the prices if the 460 drops even move.. pretty good shame you can can't use them in 4-way sli.

yeah the higher end cards will come in november :), i would get a 6770 for my birthday then another perhaps for christmas for crossfire? just depends what the prices will be like though. anyone got any ideas on pricing or has that not been reviled yet?

Hearing prices on 6770 is going be higher than people expect like £200+ mark

HD6770 will be around £175 vanilla.

HD6750 around £130

Performance wise the HD6770 should be between a 5850 & 5870.

Cue lots of people trying to shift a HD5870 that is now worth around £150.

Barts features 256-bit memory, twice that of the HD 5700, and in general is likely to be closer to Cayman than 5700 was to 5800. Hence, we can expect higher prices for the HD 6700 series, probably in the $200-$300 range. This is due a restructuring in the HD 6000 family, and this higher price will also be reflected in much superior performance.

Nvidea are also now expected to release some new cards to compete with the 6000 series, or so I read earlier today.

Theres a fermi refresh coming but not in the next 6 weeks.

HD6770 will be around £175 for the reference design.

nv tend to wait till after ati and just before xmas so they get the late buyers and the new year xmas money.

Interesting these should be faster for folding with change from 4 simple shaders + 1 complex shader to 4 medium complexity shaders :thumb:
