Heard about all the idiots camping outside apple stores for the launch of the Iphone at 2 minutes past some ungodly hour.
From what they were saying the Iphone sounds simply like an ipod that can make a call.
1. It doesn't do MMS picture messages. (I MEAN NO MMS WTF)
2. You can't use a downloaded song as a ringtone as apple have got copyright infringements all over it.
3. You have to sign up to Itunes, I HATE Itunes! 1984 george orwell on your phone!
4. The battery needs replacing after 300 charges! (key103 actually said this)
5. Not flash or java on a do it all phone :redface:
6. No keyboard, texting nightmare, my thumb would press four keys at once.
7. Safari browser OH NO
8. No flash or zoom on the camera :o
9. No games
10. No voicedialing
11. add your issue here...
SO I ask you this, since it doesn’t do any BASIC phone feature, why would you ever buy one?
Surely for a feature rich phone with MP3 you would simply buy a SonyEric?

I agree with everything that you said in that post, and I actually didnt know that it was as crippled as all that..
The thing that makes me smile, is that (and I do it as well!) we expect all of those things as a basic phone - when the actual basic function of a phone is to make phonecalls! :lol:
But I agree.. The lack of features in what is supposed to be the next big thing in phones is amazing..

So im going to spend a fortune on a phone that doesnt do what my old 3 year old phone does, or my current one.

Were regressing in technology, 3 year old tech for a current tech price..
might as well just buy the ipod touch and use the wireless for voip :) at least you can surf the web properly on those
Iphone are just a stupid thing anyway, the only people who would spent £280 or somthing like that on it are Apple Bum Fans.
I was watching the news while in bed all yesterday because of my stupid cold and because there on contract with O2 each year there having to pay over £1,000 for it which is just stupid. Id rather just buy a new pc.

what u do is send it back to apple pay £something like £60+ for a new battery and they just send u a different refurbished phone, so any data u had on the phone still is now lost

its true stuff some reviewer in america tested this out got a UV pen marked the iphone sent it in when he got it back totally different phone and lost all his data, aslong as u backed up ur phone data ur fine
