1. Where would you find a companion called Dogmeat?
2. Why is he cool? :)

Because he used to find stuff for you and he loved you which you could tell when you tried to send him to go back to vault 101 as he would whimper.

Also he took no :censored: from raiders as he was pure bad-*** :P.

the original dogmeat is the NPC dog from fallout 1, although there is one as homage to the original dogmeat in fallout 2 and 3 these are not the orginal dogmeat
he is cool because he if a faithful loyal dog ...

He is cool because he is a Dog and he likes meat (all dogs do!) and then the twist - right get this - his name is Dogmeat! How nuts is that! ;)

Dogmeat is a dog companion character from fallout 3 he is found in the scrapyard.

He's cool because he eats enemies big or small! He will growl to alert you if enemies are near, he is also useful for finding items as he can bypass locked boxes.

Dogmeat was Mad Max's companion dog in Mad Max 2. He was also found in the Fallout series in reference to this movie.

In Fallout 3 Dogmeat can be used to pick items for you.

Why is he cool? because if you loose him he will walk all the way back to the beginning at the entrance of the vault so you will never loose him kinda cool for a dog made of pixels.

b) the Mad Max films, or
c) Korean Restaurant Menus.

2) He is cool because in
a) Fallout, he will defend you, find things for you, follow you around and just generally be quite useful.
b) In Mad Max, he is another loyal companion.

Dogmeat is one of the first companions you can get in Fallout3. He's a dog you rescue from a train station who follows you loyally from there on out.

He's cool because he's not afraid to throw himself face first into a shotgun, or to run blindly across a minefiled being attacked by a sniper.

He lasted 15 minutes in my game.
