I have just received a Thermaltake 1000w Toughpower power suply. I have been checking the connections before fitting.
I have a P5N-E SLI motherboard. At the moment there is a 24 pin connector EATXPOWER. and a 4pin connector by the processor called ATX 12V.

There is no 4 pin connector in the box. The Main leads coming from the Thermaltake supply supply are one 24 pin and 2 eight pin. There is nothing to convert the 8 pin to a 4 pin.

Any help plese. Have I bought the right power supply?

Hi,

Iv checked the description and it does say "4-pin Peripheral Connector X 8" so you should have got 8 of them connectors?

Can you check the box again to make sure that there not under somthing or hiding from you.

If not then give Aria a call and you can do an RMA request for a replacment.

The 8 should snap apart to make 2x 4's

Thanks for your very quick replies. You are right I didn't realise the 8pin split in to 2 - 4pin.
I should read the instructions more carefully.
I was worried for a while.
