AMD 6400+ Black Edition AMS.

I'm not being stupid but I am building my First AMD computer instead of an Intel Again.I would like to know from experienced members, I have purchased an AMD Athlon 64 x2 4000+ AMS Dual Core Motherboard bundle (ECS 6100SM-M Micro ATX), But I wouild like to upgrade the CPU to the 6400+ Black Edition! would it still fit into this MOBO.

If you read the motherboard description it says:

• AM2 Supports AMD Socket AM2 Athlon 64 FX/Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core/Athlon 64/Sempron processors with 64-bit architecture. Features 2000 MT/s HyperTransport technology and dual-channel DDR2 800 memory support.

So your answer is yes it does support it.
