Heya Guys / Gals.
Just want some help on upgrading my computer...
Im 16, and like to game. But dont have 'Loads of Money', Hench The Specs....
What would be the best thing to upgrade on my pc?
Specs:
Intel Pentium D 950 @ 3.4ghz
2GB OCZ Reaper EB HPC 800mhz DDR2 RAM
Asus P5N-e NF650i Motherboard
Inno3D Nvidia 8600GT 256MB GPU
250GB Samsung SpinPoint SATA2 Hardrive
Xilence 420 Gamer PSU
So, What you think ?
Christmas is coming up, so i guess i could get about £120-£150 to spend on PC Parts. :)
In My Own Opinion The CPU & Graphics Card Are The Worst.
Ive Only Had The GPU For About 3months, and my parents will not allow me to replace that already, otherwise i would get an 8800GT...

Id get a bettter CPU. Motherboard is fine, memory fine, maybe get an extra hard drive and stick them in raid 0. Id say wait awhile for a new graphics card, or if you really want a new graphics card sell it on eBay and wait for the January Sales and buy a new graphics card then.

Then should be good and all you need to worry about in the new year is finding a good graphics card but its ok the one you have in there at the moment.
Definately CPU either C2D 6550 or 6750.
Unless you are despirately short on HDD space i would put the extra towards the 6750.

Well. I was Thinking Of Getting the E6750, Becuase i have 120GB Left Of My 250GB hardrive.
So. New CPU it Will be Then I Guess...

In my opinion yes its pointless sli-ing mid range cards, sell the one that you have and get a single 8800, or 8600gts though the 8800 would be the better choice.

I have one of these and can recommend them, DO NOT get it if you have a modular psu as the space between the psu and hdd cage is quite tight.

Yep another decent choice, mate of mine has one, the problem with cases is that what i might like (minimalist these days, no bling) might not be to the taste of the person asking for advice.

yea everyone has there own taste, its best for them to look for a case they like themselves but nothing wrong with us giving them a few recomendations ;)
Nothing wrong at all :) ask 10 different people what case they like and you could get 10 different answers though and be no nearer to making a choice :D
