lol iv seen this before, i dont think this was done in a prison because A how the hell would they have teached each and everyone person the moves and B they wouldnt allow every inmate in the same place at the same time because what would have happened if they all started fighting?
Blow them all up with a bomb or somthing?
They're surrounded by guards with automatic weapons...
It was only the well behaved prisoners too - but it is in a prison - Thailand I believe

All they'd need to do is have the guards up on balconies surrounding them, or something similar. If a riot/fight did break out, guards in full riot gear and barricades would move in with tear gas and automatic weapons.
The inmates were likely given a huge incentive to do the whole thriller thing, so that they'd want to do it, not to mention being able to focus on achieving something that would likely lead to their sentences being reduced for good behaviour.
