PSU in my aged shuttle popped a couple of days ago... it was a 240W unit.

Managed to squeeze in an even older shuttle's PSU that's a 200W unit.

This eve I've had 2 bsod's both with a 0x0000000C5 error - I'm thinking it might be low on juice ?

Any advice appreciated :)

Oh, and I need to make this box last a month before I can afford a new build

Update... every time it's BSOD'd I've had CPUID HWMonitor running... I've never run this before... and the 3rd BSOD of the evening I had literally just clicked on CPUIDHWM.

Is it possible the HWMonitor is causing a BSOD ?

Possible. Everest caused crashes when reading GPU information. I suspect it's power though.

it's the -5v and -12v that concern me... will see how long it lasts without looking at HWM :D

Sounds like a voltage problem

Okay, after about 12 hours continuous uptime NOT using the HWMonitor... I think it was that causing the BSOD's :D

Time for another tool to monitor temps ;)

Hmm look like the -5 and -10 lines are crossed somehow ?

think you mean -5 and -12 ;) but yeah, that's not what worried me, it was that the -12 was actually -10 :s

working so far though :thumb:
