Hi im trying to turn a Dell GX280 into a media center.
The onboard graphics arent really cutting it so I need a half height pcie card with a dvi or hdmi port on it, doesnt have to be too great just better than on-board!
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to the forum, try these out:
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/PCI-E/nVIDIA+GeForce+7+Series/XFX+GeForce+7600GS+256MB+PCI-E+?productId=28337
OR
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/PCI-E/ASUS+Radeon+EAX1600Pro+256MB+PCI-E+HDMI+LOW+PROFILE+?productId=28391
the second one is cheaper and out of stock but the first one has better graphics.
Id go for the first one because its better.

Hi thanks for your quick reply, however neither card seems to be half height, the second one is low profile but the back plate is too large (unless it comes with a half height one aswel?)
Darren.
