I actually find it funny the people who have 'unlocked' this in the US only for Apple to release a firmware update that disables unlocked phones
I saw a review of it on the gadget show...
2MP Camera that only does stills and not video.
No GPS.
The map software doesnt work anyway.
No 3G

You can unlock it, once the patch for the new firmware update is out, also they are not mandatory, so if you've hacked your iPhone, you are safe basically.
Videos, i hear apple are releasing it soon aswell as some map updates
I was getting one for christmas, going to wait a while now.
Still no GPS, 3G and only a 2MP camera.
As they said in the gadget show....Thats 5 year old technology!:S
yeah but seriously... all you need to do is put a half eaten bit of rotten fruit on anything electronic and the apple fanboys will be all over it like its about to give them the secret answer to the meaning of life...
I do like their products in general and I think they are good and well designed - but I wouldnt buy one unless the prices became realistic for what you actually get!
i agree, they make good products and well designed, but the prices are just sky high.
Maybe Aria could make an iphone and call it Arianet Iphone :lol: sell it for £60 and ill buy it :p
Its just a brand, people are always willing to pay well over the odds for a fashion label. Which is all Apple are nowadays.

I think the new MacBook Pros are actually pretty decent.. But yeah, once again - completely over priced for what you actually get!

i've just seen a video for a launch in the US and they've all got their hands in the air showing off they've got one and screaming like girls. I'm thinking stop it you muppets, you so going to get mugged round the next corner if you keep doing that.

Agreed, but people buy it because its APPLE.
I bought an iPod after having a quick play with one - got it home and it's **** to live with...
It's very sexy hardware but the software is appalling and lacks features I thought would be fundamental these days!
But my god it's sexy...
Just wish I'd bought a Zen instead :(
I thought the same. I bought one, and it lacks fundementals like being able to set your own EQ etc.. and having to skip back to the main menu just to be able to set things like play, shuffle, repeat etc, is a complete ****.

I presume were not using the Classic Ipod (new 6th Gen) Version?
coz i must admit I Lurvvve my ipod. and i used to hate them back in the day. I remeber when i worked for a large electrical retailer when people came in for an ipod they always walker out with something better if they spoke to me. but the new version is great. just wish it had bluetooth.

no - mine is a 30gb ipod video.. 5th Gen I think.. (or 5.5 or whatever they called it...)
id rather have one of them cheap chinese ipod nano lookalike mp3 players. Infact i have one, there awsome, they also play VIDEOS and have games on lol.
i got 1 too but 4gb isnt enough. 80gb ipod classic is where its at. menu is so much better now.
