View Full Version : Butterbean vs Pudzianowski
Anyone watching it?
Im not able to watch it as i dont have a TV (:cry) wasnt impressed with Pudzianowski when he fought Tim Sylvia as it was a slow performance and he gassed very quickly which lead to his defeat.

Going by wikipedia, he lost to Sylvia (2x former UFC heavyweight champ) because he broke his metatarsus in the first round and was unable to perform properly. Not bad going really, no shame in that defeat.
Used to watch World's Strongest Man quite a lot and was amazed by Pudzianowski. Would love to watch some of his MMA matches but can't find them anywhere on the net.
EDIT:Found some videos now

Thanks for that Bigian88, really enjoyed watching those.
Been a Pudzi fan for ages, much respect for someone who has done so much in one field to move into another where he has nothing to win really.
I think he is now finding out it isnt all about brute force though lol.
I don't watch UFC anymore as it mainly ends in submissions, the early stuff was great, karate grand masters against sumo and boxers.
That Polish dude is pretty poor, he can beat up a fat old man (butterbean) but that Silvia floored him easily.
No stamina or technique really.
He's the former worlds strongest man mate, he wont have much speed but loads of explosive strength and power.
if he keeps learning and losing the muscle that is using up precious oxygen he would be a force to be reckoned with. noone is unbeatable from the get-go, another few years training and fighting and he should be pretty decent.
if you compare the butterbean fight to his first mma fight if looks like a different person, hes improved alot
Have always been a fan of pudz from watching worlds strongest man. He's an animal i'm sure he will become a better fighter with a bit more experience under his belt
