What do you mean specifically by everyday use?

Up to 4GB RAM is not what I consider 'everyday' 512MB is.

well thinkin if im gonna bother spending money on a new system might as well go for somethin decent. no point in spend £150/200 on a system, just to replace it this time next year.

will prob be used for online poker more than anythin:D some gaming but nothing too testing....command and conquer 3 etc.

Personally I'd go with the Patriot 2gb pc2-6400 c4 kit quick code 26802 - currently on D4T @ £41.07.
This would give a little extra to spend on a better mobo.

Also spotted that the cpu is a FSB of 1333 and the board you selected was a 800/533 fsb.. the chip wont go on that board.

try this board Asrock ConRoe1333-DVI/H Soket 775 Motherboard, quick code:28570. this should do the job.
