can any one suggest a good ram tester as i think mine is causeing bsod
and i get this to using Blue screen view

yes, use a free to download program called unetbootin to convert the ISO file to a bootable USB
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
Of course, it's also dependent on your motherboard supporting boot from USB, but most do now. I've a repair all USB stick I keep in my laptop bag that boots, created on my windows7 desktop ;)

Memtest86's website states that you need linux to make a bootable usb.
I think that's because of the specific image that's in the download why the site states that, why they don't link to unetbootin I don't know - so I'll email them and ask :chuckle:
