Who has one and what fun games do we all have?

I purchased one over the weekend and have to say WOW how brill are they.

Not tried the online gaming yet, has anyone else and is it any good?
Also what’s peoples online name so we can kick each others bums on some games

Am considering getting one and the new Gran Tourismo, either that or a quad core for my pc.

Tough choice tbh.

I played Gran Tourismo on a 1080i 32" TV yesterday and it was Fo0king amazing mate best driving game i ever played for graphics. Well worth it.

Indeed but just look at some of the games to come out on the PS3 there so good and the trails look so good.

I'm tempted by the 40 gig version..I'm not bothered about it not playing ps2 games lol..and for about £250 i get a blu ray player as well..hmmmm :lol:

But if you look at the games about to come out for the PS3 over the next 6 months there so good and looking at the trailers just make my mouth water!

Thats just it though there isn't many, if any, games out atm that make use of more than 2 cores. Not many that i am aware of anyway.

I only got the 40GB version as they are discontinued the 60GB as they are releasing an 80GB one after xmas. The only difference is the fact that it can’t play PS2 games and less USB connections and the card reader which you don’t really need.
Also at the mo I'm only playing it on a **** TV and it still looks well good, can’t wait to get a nice BIG HD TV nearer xmas.

I’m thinking of a nice 32” one really, anyone know any good ones and good deals on them?

The 40gb version cant play PS2 games?! I need to do some more research!! hehe...

I just bought a 37" LG tv that can to up to 1080p - I'd love to get one and see it on that!

I'd be well gutted if i bought a console and couldnt play old games on it....
hold on what am i saying, I'd buy the console to play the latest games who cares if i cant play ps2 games anyway. they'd be remade for the ps3 anyway...

Also if you want to play old PS games you can download them from the PS3 site for £3.95 and they just install on the hard drive. I use to love MediEvil and its on there so i am so going to get it. At the mo there are only PS games but im sure before not to long PS2 games will be there to.

I dont like PS3's firstly you have to pay for old games, with the 360, you just add the emulation softare freely to the hd and play away. There are hardly any good games compared to the 360, which topped the console sales this month, Halo3 Hello!

Halo 3 is nasty i just couldnt get in to it i never have with Halo games but i do agree at the mo there is only a hand full of good games out but have a look at the games coming out over the next few months its mouth watering stuff.
