Got it on my canary build. Kinda useful. But I like Instant
great find, I did wonder when i say google instant who uses the google.com site i use the address bar in chrome but i cant see how that can work. if im typing www.aria.co.uk then it is going show me a lot of results for sites i dont need when im not even searching,, how will it tell between typing a known URL and typing something you wasn to search for...
infact most of the time i dont type the www. bit
anyway ill download it and find out of its as great as everythign else chrome ( except the OS)
The address bar functionality stays the same with your history etc. Just google Instant appears on the page. It's quite well done
yeah but its using tons of bandwidth to load google pages you just dont need.
Bandy schmandy :P. Unlimited data must be mainstream by now?
It's just text, hardly 'tons of bandwidth' really. If you were on a 56k modem then maybe you'd want to avoid it, but nowadays it's hardly an issue.
It's just using AJAX, which is pretty common on many websites nowadays.
Cool, I like Google Instant, didn't even realise that was what it was called :)
