Paradise Lost / the Saw films are quite good, imho , more gory than scary though.

Is there such things as scarey films these days? Some films make me jump in a "BOO" kinda way, other make me cringe in a "ouch that musta hurt" kinda way, scarey?? Nahh never been scred of a film / tv since i was about 10.

Maybe i am just desensitised though?

The Others is good, not scary tho. In fact there is no such thing as scary films any more as the public are more tolerant of horror, unlike 25 years ago. It's more the shock and gore factor now.

The film people seem to class the "saw" films as scary. Its just full of gore and blood. No story in it.

You need to leave the "scary" part of films up to our imagination, Not spell it out for us!:sad:

I've heard Hostel is supposed to be scarry, but not in to blood & gore films. much prefer my good old pron ;)

I enjoyed SAW but i'm wondering how long they are going to stretch the series.

Will we see something along the lines of Friday the 13th or Halloween?
