Im at a BBQ - hopefully the host will be kind enough to stick the TV on!
A BBQ !
Its getting cold at night these days.
I probably wont be watching it, F1 bores me tbh.

shame on you boy !
Sorry but for the past 10-15 years or more the "races" i have seen (not many) have been little more than a convoy and sent me to sleep. I gave up watching them years ago. Ususally the first car around the first bend wins, assuming they don't drop out due to mechanical failure, pitstop races would be more interesting.
lol i just like watching them crash
Last chance for an England victory tomorrow!
If he looses the UK will be depressed next week!
Theres always England Football, but man if it doesnt go our way then i wonder what its going to be like then, i dont want to think about it :(
lol i love this, not seen it for a while

Well.......Its going well so far:sad:
you mean its not going well :(
He is coming back though, i loved the crash on the first lap when the orange car went over the other car lol.
LMFAO i also loved it when that Pit Guy got ran over by his driver lmfao !
shame we havent won :(
What i didnt get if why did they tell Alonso to slow down which slows the 2 drivers behind him to let Lewis catch up and over take them.
:(
I'd check the latest news on this. He might have won it after all depending on what the FIA decide.
Yeah - something about fuel density?!
no he lost it, although mclaren are appealing, but hey lets be real he over achieved in his first season. the guys good but he needs more experiance.
did no-one else see this coming before the weekend. it was obvious that pressure was getting to him after the last race in china.

More experience? He's been racing with mclaren for over a decade!
It wasn't the pressure was it??? I thought it was mechanical issues...
He did a silly bit of overtaking which went wrong. That was F1 inexperience I imagine.
He lost something like 40 seconds with a gearbox problem before his gearbox reset itself and he got going again.
Then he went for a 3 stop strategy to attempt a catch up, and went with his slower tyres to start with so he could fly at the end. He just ran out of time to catch up. Different story if any one of the above things did not happen, winners need to be lucky! Not just skilled.
So him coming off in China wasn't down to pressure? And why did he slip to 18th???
he's been racing with Mclaren for over a decade but F1 only a year.
I have to wonder though why the FIA sets rules, then when people break them decides not to do anything about it.
Having a lower fuel temp increases HP which could be classed as 'performance enhancing'. Equivalent to taking performance enhancing drugs in athletics so treat it as if it is and we all know what punishments they get.
He lost it cos he is english.
i think he did a really good job, yes he did a mistake at the beginning but think about it, even if he was in 3rd place he still would have had that gearbox problem and that would have made him still go down to like 15th place. The gear box was a tech fault and not his fault so all in all he played really well i think from getting to 17th place back down to 7th place i think he finished up.
I agree he did a good job, but i think next year will be his year. you'll find the mistakes he's made this season he'll have learnt from and he'll be better for it. but lets be real he should have won it in china, not leaving it to the last race.
yea i agree.
Lets just hope he does actually win it next year.
The thing that gets me is the double standards. Ferrari won the first couple of races, and then it was found out that they only won because they had a device in the car that was completely illegal according to the F1 rules. And yet they were allowed to keep drivers AND constructors points.
If that had happened to any other team (but this season, particularly McLaren!), do you think it would have been the same outcome? I think not.
