If anyone is having trouble using smilies and would like the advanced editor, do the following:
Click on 'User CP' (top left)
Click on Edit Options
Scroll down to Miscellaneous Options
Select 'Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing'
Save Changes.:mrgreen: Hope this helps...
