View Full Version : Amsterdam - What to do other than Drugs And Ladies of the night
I'm off to Amsterdam in 9 days time, And I was wondering what else there is to do other than the drugs and the laydees.
hire a bike and explore
get a guidebook - they normally contain alot of stuff not concerning drugs and naughty ladies :P
forgot to mention only there for 3 days.
you need to go see a donkey show - I'm not sure what one is, but my friend said it was good - I think it's a bit like a circus...
As long as the donkeys not on the redlight district then you should be ok! LOL
3 days should leave you just enough time for window shopping and herbal cigarettes :)
but if you have any spare time try the Heineken brewery tour, van gogh museum, rijksmuseum, amsterdam arena tour to name a few
where are you staying? more central the better last time i went stayed just off dam square ten minute walk from the station, five minute walk to the redlight ;)

I wonder if they mind you taking photos. Report back when you find out...
I actually think they might actually curtail alot of what goes on in Amsterdam in the next few years. There not too pleased about the behaviour of tourists that visit the city.
I was reading about the AREA and they say it's not allowed to take photo's so might have to take a spare phone to take them on incase i get caught and the phone gets thrown in the river as i heard can happen. Will post some on my website when i get back for everyone to have a nosey at.
