My dad just bought a 60" 3D television but his graphics card apparently wont support 3d tv according to nvidia website. Its onboard and prob 6000 series chipset. He has a quad core intel cpu skt 775 2.4ghz.

Please can someone tell me what card to buy that will support blueray 3d discs and other types of 3d tv? He doesnt play games so wont need a high end card I wouldn't have thought.

What kind of 3D is it?

Steroscopic 3D (LCD glasses)?

If so he'll need an 8800GT or above.

All he wants is 3D Blu-Ray.

A GT220 or 240 would do just fine
