Make sure you haven't knocked any cables out.

Specifically the Power Switch LED.

the power led must be connected if its lit up as stated, and if the psu button was disconnected the same again would not occur. Any beeps at all or just lights and a blank screen? As sl4x0r said, check you have memory installed, and try removing it if you have and ensuring its reseated correctly.

Well observed :?

In that case, double check you have the Heatsink fitted correctly and its making good solid contact with the processor.

Re-apply the paste (If you have used any)

Have tried several configurations from full assembled unit (graphics card, memory, HDD etc) right down to just CPU and motherboard. Alway get the same response power LEd and HDD LED full on, CPU fan runs, no beeps or any other signs of life.

Heatsink is on Ok, with plenty of compound.

dont swap them over, just remve the one that isnt working from its case, unplug the one that does from the motherboard and plug the psu into the board of the one that does and switch on and see whate happens.
