I'm responsible for running a 50+ person LAN in Manchester and I'm looking to chat to someone at Aria about possible sponsorship or cross-promotion. Who would be the best person to talk to about this?
I was also wondering if it would be okay to be cheeky and make a post about it on here ;)
It's a non-profit LAN by the way.
Thanks for any help.
I would PM Amie or The Architect. They should be able to direct you to the right person.

Most LAN parties I've been to haven't made a profit...
ive never been to one tbh, i dont see the point as i can play games at home online whilst gaining weight and drinking beer alone ;)

In that case you need to go to one - it's a totally different experience and it'll open your eyes to how gaming should be played.

Indeed. Most LANs struggle to break even, let alone make a profit :) There's often a misconception about it though and many don't realise the costs involved.
Thanks for the info. I'll PM said people :)
In regards to what a LAN is like, we have writeups and pictures online. I hope it's okay to post this link (please feel free to remove it if not):
