laptop problem

hey guys its a argo c packard bell laptop that wont power on.
tried another charger that does work and still wont power on any ideas ?

Does the charging light come on when you plug in the power cable?

Laptops usually have an LED somewhere on the device itself which lights up when it is plugged in, I think Aaron was probably referring to this light.

Thats exactly what I was referring to, andy. If the light on the laptop itself doesnt come on, then the first thing I would check is the power socket on the laptop itself. I get quite a few of these in, and it just requires a bit of resoldering :)
