I mooted last year about buying a new pc, and couldn't really justify or afford it. Now I can. My initial budget is £650 but there's some leeway if absolutely necessary. I'm looking for a system built around an 8800 and a C2D, with at elast 2Gb RAM. I'll also need to buy Vista OEM (which I'll downgrade to XP I think), so factor that in too. So far, I've come up with the following, but I need a HD (Not too big), a MB as I haven't a clue what goes with what, and Fans/Heatsinks etc. Case wise, the PC's going to be under a desk, so it doesn't have to be the most aesthetically pleasing model but must be well cooled.
Basically, this pc will need to play Armed Assault well, if not I'm not interested. :D

Anyone?
Seems like a good board to me. And the Asus website indicates that it will work with your CPU.
