Lol Monitors don't get much better than Dell Ultrasharps.

30" panel and it's not a 6bit TN Panel!

They truly are amazing panels, and are aimed at the prosumer market.

Having said that, the design is from 2008 so I'd expect a new panel next year.

Was there not a 09 version of the 30"?

My 23" is a 09 model

I've got one (24" I think), I love it and love the aspect ratio as well.

I have a very elderly Ultrasharp 17" (1703FP) which I have had from new and was a gift from my ex boss along with a GX270...

Yup, Andrew is very right. Although thankfully I didn't pay retail price for mine as I managed to nab one 2nd hand. But they are excellent.

I'd sell one, actually both, of David84's kidneys for this. (Don't worry, we'll share the monitor!)

Someone I know has one of these, I think its a 30" anyway.

Any you've really got to see it to believe it. Having said that, I don't know if I could justify spending 1k on a monitor.

I can believe they're fabulous - the designers at work have the 27" versions on their CAD stations. So given that I have a 15 year old 21" ex-CAD station CRT monitor at home, after rescuing it from the skip at work, around 2025 I can look forward to one ;)
I think I can add the 30" to the "lottery win" dream machine spec... (or maybe 2 or 3 - multi-monitor display setups are ace.
