Just a quick post for people to just add random questions, facts and so on....
Like i would like to know why do girls go to the loo in 2's and hold hands?
Who would win in a fight between Spiderman and Batman and why would they win?
Is the world really round?
Why has no man landed on the mood ever since that American chap did years a go?
and the last one is the moon really made of cheese?
Girls hold hands when going the toilet as they are can be a little blonde at times and dont want to get lost, therefore bringing someone along allows for less chance to get lost ;)
Spiderman would win in a fight because he has super powers where batman is a mear man/rentacop with computer controlled gadgets that are more likely to blue screen of death while taking a poke at the joker.
The world is flat but magnetic so you cant fall off it.
No one has landed on the moon because the americans have converted into a death star full of nukes and laser beams, therefore everyone is too scared to go back
and finally
the moon is not made of cheese, its made of nukes and laser beams :)

Reduces the chance of rape
[quote:4dd82cd6a1=\"Funlester\"]Who would win in a fight between Spiderman and Batman and why would they win?[/quote:4dd82cd6a1]
THEY'RE NOT REAL - besides - Batman lives in Gotham and Spiderman lives in Metropolis so they wouldn't meet - anyway, bats are bigger than spiders
[quote:4dd82cd6a1=\"Funlester\"]Is the world really round?[/quote:4dd82cd6a1]
No, it's almost spherical, but there are anomolies (a bit like if you buy a bouncy ball and it has a moulding mark round it)
[quote:4dd82cd6a1=\"Funlester\"]Why has no man landed on the mood ever since that American chap did years a go?[/quote:4dd82cd6a1]
How does one land on the mood?
[quote:4dd82cd6a1=\"Funlester\"]and the last one is the moon really made of cheese?[/quote:4dd82cd6a1]
No, but the mood is...

[quote:6c21405d4c=\"Funlester\"]Who would win in a fight between Spiderman and Batman and why would they win?[/quote:6c21405d4c]
Batman would win, cause Spiderman isn't very smart, and is a bit of a weakling. Batman would humiliate him in front of a large crowd of people, and then watch him crawl away crying like an emo.
[quote:6c21405d4c=\"Funlester\"]Is the world really round?[/quote:6c21405d4c]
No, it is not, its more like a lumpy roundish potato.
[quote:6c21405d4c=\"Funlester\"]Why has no man landed on the moon ever since that American chap did years a go?[/quote:6c21405d4c]
Well, first off, there isn't much to gain by sending a man up there, except for bragging rights... theres only so much to gain from getting rock samples. Secondly, its a lesser known fact that everytime a shuttle landed on the moon, it caused a moonquake... leading NASA to believe that the Moon is really rather fragile, so any further landings/bases are on hiatus until they can determine just how fragile it is...
[quote:6c21405d4c=\"Funlester\"]and the last one is the moon really made of cheese?[/quote:6c21405d4c]
Actually, that isn't too far from NASAs current theory. Basically, they reckon the Moon is porous, like an Aero, or swiss cheese, rather than a solid block. But no, theres no cheese up there.

To Contribute, ill throw in some additional little fun moon facts
We only ever see one half of the moon... the way the Moon orbits around the earth, means it faces the same way towards us at all times... the first time a human being ever saw the dark side of the moon was in 1968 during the Apollo 8 mission.
The moon is not spherical, its actually egg-shaped, with the largest end of the Egg pointing towards the Earth.
The moon is bigger than Pluto, and roughly one-fourth the diameter of Earth, leading many scientists to believe the moon is more like a planet than a moon.
The moon is pulling away from the Earth... each year, the Moon moves 3.8cm further away from us.
The moon has an atmosphere, albeit a very thin one
Not a fact, but there are several ancient cultures who speak of the Moon suddenly appearing in the sky around 4-5 thousand years ago.. around the time when the great flood was supposed to have occurred. Also, rather strangely, the moon is never talked about prior to this point, its always just assumed that cultures have always known about the existence of the moon, since we assume its always been there.

What's the largest end???
The pointy or the rounded end?
Is it as accentuated as an egg?

Emo
In its original incarnation, the term emo was used to describe a subgenre of hardcore punk which originated in the Washington, DC music scene of the mid-1980s. In later years, the term emocore, short for \"emotional hardcore\", was also used to describe the DC scene and some of the regional scenes that spawned from it. The term emo was derived from the fact that, on occasion, members of a band would become spontaneously and strongly emotional during performances. The most recognizable names of the period included Rites of Spring, Embrace, One Last Wish, Beefeater, Gray Matter, Fire Party, and, slightly later, Moss Icon. The first wave of emo began to fade after the breakups of most of the involved bands in the early 1990s.
Starting in the mid-1990s, the term emo began to reflect the indie scene that followed the influences of Fugazi, which itself was an offshoot of the first wave of emo. Bands including Sunny Day Real Estate and Texas Is the Reason put forth a more indie rock style of emo, more melodic and less chaotic in nature than its predecessor. The so-called \"indie emo\" scene survived until the late 1990s, as many of the bands either disbanded or shifted to mainstream styles.
As the remaining indie emo bands entered the mainstream, newer bands began to emulate the more mainstream style, creating a style of music that has now earned the moniker emo within popular culture. Whereas, even in the past, the term emo was used to identify a wide variety of bands, the breadth of bands listed under today's emo is even more vast, leaving the term \"emo\" as more of a loose identifier than as a specific genre of music.

To hopefully move us away from the whole goth/emo/elmo debate... i bring to you... Elephant facts
Adult Elephants always sleep standing up, yet baby Elephants sometimes lie down to sleep.
Elephants defecate around 80lbs of feces a day, which is the average weight (50th percentile) of a 10 year old white male. (2003 data found online)
Elephants cannot trot, run, jump, nor gallop, instead it has a sort of gliding shuffle, which it can step up to the speed of a human sprinter. There are few animals that can travel farther in a day than the elephant.
Just as humans are either left or right handed, Elephants are either left or right tusked... and will use one tusk more dominantly for everyday tasks, which often results in one tusk being more worn down than the other.
Unlike most other mammals, who grow baby teeth, which are eventually replaced with a permanent set of adult teeth, Elephants have cycles of new teeth, and lost teeth will be replaced 5 times in their life. Also, these new teeth do not emerge from the jaw vertically like with our teeth. Instead, they have a horizontal progression, like a conveyor belt. New teeth grow in at the back of the mouth, pushing older teeth toward the front. When the last set of teeth is lost, the elephant will die of starvation, indeed, because elephants tend to lose their last set of teeth well before old age would normally take them, its rare of for an elephant to die of old age. This has been the explanation of the legendary \"Elephant Graveyards\" as older starving elephants head to sources of water looking for soft water plants, and end up dieing, next to other malnourished elephants.
Elephants have been found to be able to laugh and cry, aswell as grieve the loss of other elephants.
Elephants have greeting ceremonies when a friend that has been away for some time returns to the group.
Elephants are self-aware... if shown themselves in a mirror, they recognise it as being themself, if a painted mark is placed on an elephant, and shown it in a mirror, it will investigate the mark on itself with its trunk, showing that it recognises the image in the mirror as a reflection of itself. The only other animals who have demonstrated this self-awareness, are Humans, Apes and Dolphins.
Elephants of both sexes often have homosexual relationships.
It has been discovered that Elephants communicate over long distances by producing and receiving low frequency infrasound through the ground, via the sensitive skin of their feet, which pick up the resonant vibrations in much the same way as the flat skin on the head of a drum.
Adult male elephants often enter a murderous rage called \"Musth\" in Hindi, in which they go on a rampage killing any and all humans in sight. The rage is accompanied with a thick, black tar-like liquid secretion from their mouth and ears, which is to this day uncharacterised, due to the difficulties of collecting a sample to test. There is still a lot of conflicting debate about what causes it.
