Hi All ,

i recently had to change my MB to a AM2 (asus m2n dh) which has the 4 pin mobo header for a believe a pwm fan, unfortuantly my stock cpu cooler which has a 120mm fan blue tacked onto it now runs ful pelt and is a bit noisy, but cools the cpu to
26deg which is nice.

any ideas on a cooler that has a 4 pin connector on it, and not molex

Thanks

J

Could you not wire it up so that the voltage is decreased?

No Idea really, but i dont think so its a different type of fan i'm really struggling to find one even tho its the prefarred am2 standard. and the stock fan was 3 pin!

You can plug the 3pin fan into the 4pin header... they should still throttle the fan too.
