yea seems fine, i like your choice of Memory, was thinking of buying that aswell.

One thing i would get rid of though is the WD Raptor hard drive. I have 2 150GB Raptors and they make so much noise and there isnt really that much speed diffrence at all. (i have them on Raid 0 and its same speed as just 1 of them)

Thanks

EDIT: also for £10 more you can upgrade your cpu to 2.67Ghz http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/CPUs+%2F+Processors/Intel/Core+2+Duo/Intel+Core+2+Duo+E6700+2.67GHz+%28775%29+?productI d=23827[/quote:2eab49c96d]

Agreed with the Raptor advice - bin it and get a 500GB disk or two.

And Mickey, that would be a CPU downgrade - he picked a Quad-core.

You don't mention your OS choice but you'll currently need Vista as M$ state that DX10 will only run on that. The gits.

I'd dual boot vista and XP so you can test out your hardware in XP first.

Get two 500gb seagates
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Hard+Drives/Serial+ATA/500GB+Seagate+Barracuda+SATA2+16MB+?productId=2620 1

Setup a 32k striped array (RAID0) and your in business :D, takes a bit more time to load windows as most of the files are smaller than 32k but for loading games and movies its the dogs!
