i say eye for an eye. Lock her in the bin for 15 hrs on a nice hot humid day.
i mean i dont like cats, but that takes it to another level.
Awful to see. Hope she's found and brought to justice.
That's just plain wrong. Simply ... why?
Surely the driver of that black car must have seen her.

she needs throwing down a manhole into the sewers! :cop:
No too much :censored: down there in the first place ;)
Surely it's only a matter of time before she is found, with such clear CCTV.
Wrong, no other polite way of putting it. :(
Im sorry but I just cracked up laughing!!
Tad harsh I spose... woman must be special, seeing as she missed the CCTV camera even though she looked around..

She's a fruitloop...or one of the single most evil people I've ever seen. What a beatch!
Tbh she shouldn't be allowed to keep pets.

23-08-10, 22:29
She should be put on the pets offender list!
That makes me sick. Why even do that?
Tbh she shouldn't be allowed to keep pets.
It wasn't her cat, if that is what you mean.
Mrs. Limette
23-08-10, 22:35
Such a horrible women. That cat will probably never be that friendly with passers by again. :/ and the amount its been run over aswell
I'd love to catch someone do that to my cat i'd rip them a new one
Imagine if it was pick up day and it got crushed in the truck,
It wasn't her cat, if that is what you mean.
Well if she can do that to some cat she don't even know, imagine how she would be with other pets?
Thats just effed up
they need to leave the woman in a locked room with a couple of angry bull dogs
wtf...id smack her
Then stick her in a bin with a gallon of petrol on her head.
Well if she can do that to some cat she don't even know, imagine how she would be with other pets?
Oh I agree, I just wasn't sure if you were saying it because you thought it was her cat.
Sniperdude
23-08-10, 22:45
the video has just been on sky news haha
would be surprised if they didnt catch her now
maybe it was her old cat and maybe that old cat beat up her dog (:
jokes aside, its abit wrong..
well least she sorta famous now, but for all the wrong reasons.

Was on GMTV this morning too.
More publicity the better, with any luck they should catch her soon.
Saw this in the Metro this morning. She should be banged up. However, British law doesn't care for animals and animal cruelty, so she'll probably just get a slap on the wrist.

She's probably seen herself on tv an thought Oh crap!!!
wow what a crazy *** fool
surprised the lynch mob arn't round knocking on her door :knock:
Nobody knows who it is BTW its not the owner of the cat, try reading the story...
prison is a bit harsh but clearly she is messed up. she only put it in the bin and it meowed and its owner opened the bin and let it out and then checked the cctv to see who did it.
Even if she had killed it she wouldnt go to prison..
I think the fact she is on the news and everyone knows how messed up her head is will be ample punishment.
she only put it in the bin
If someone put me in a bin and I was trapped for 15 hours, was a hot day and was covered in my own mess I would probarly murder you if you had said the above. But seriously though, it's cruel as hell and she needs to be punished for it.

Sometimes I wonder why this country is so fair to criminals.

Ah... police protection.
Sometimes I wonder why this country is so fair to criminals.
Define police protection in this case? Keeping her in a cell, or actually assigning officer(s) to protect her?
Sadly what she did is apparently not a criminal offence.
Reminds of when I was walking down the street once, and a group of chavs thought it funny to pick up a cat and see how far they could kick it.......some people are sick.
Sniperdude
24-08-10, 14:29
the punishment she will get from the public will be far far worse than what she gets from the law
all she will get is a slap on the wrist i doubt it would even get to a court room
police protection is just another waste of public fundage they should just let her get on with it
Apparently it's not a police matter, as she's not commited a crime.
Sniperdude
24-08-10, 14:34
oh well she don't need protection from the public then lol

Well, as it is protection, I highly doubt she is in a cell, more likely in some comfy house or police station sipping a cup of tea. As you said, she isn't a criminal, so they can't put her in a cell.

I recently had a lawn re turfed at a cost of £1200 and 3 weeks later there were 12 massive stains caused by cat urine.
If I see one more cat in my garden then the air rifle comes out !
Then they will go in the wheelie bin
ps: I am an animal lover as I have several bird tables, and squirrels often frequent my garden for the food I leave for them; but squirrels don't urinate all over my lawn.
Bit harsh, there are better ways of deterring cats, we have an ultrasonic cat scarer near our bird tables, and there's pepper to name a couple.
Shooting them is WAY out of order.
Apparently it's not a police matter, as she's not commited a crime.
hmm? Animal Cruelty is a crime

Tried them mate but they don't work.
Even had the council round and had to pay with not living in a council house.
What else are you supposed to do apart from have a new lawn put down every few years ?

Good idea will try that thanks , although we're on a water meter :(
And I saw how fast the meter was spinning when the new lawn saw being sprinkled initially

there are infra red ones that you can get to protect fish ponds from heron
they fire a single blast of water at high pressure when the sensor is activated
even the noise of this would make a cat run.

My dad got offered free police protection...
But he did get shot at driving down the M1, thankfully the shot was a ball bearing and so hit the window but reflected and so didn't go through.
She has said sorry now ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-11087061
How can she not understand why so many people are annoyed at her? Then she goes for the sympathy vote by saying her father is ill in hospital?! That's completely unrelated to her stupidity. Take some responsibility woman and show some humility.
It will all die down eventually but the public won't forget what she did, reckon she'll be sleeping with one eye open from now on :p

You are an animal lover, implying you know a fair amount about animals - at least enough to realise that grey squirrels are not an animal to be fed, they are as good as vermin... you wouldn't leave food out for a rat now would you?

I'm sure some of us can recall a time where we've lost a pet or or had a pet injured but you just get over it.
Its just alot of publicity for a cat stuck in a bin, weigh up that with the average amount of hit and runs done on animals in the uk alone which never get anywhere this amount of public attention.
Hit and run, accident. Putting a cat in a bin, not so much.
The worrying bit is that she seemed to have planned the whole thing, looking around to see if anyone was looking etc....evil cow! (And I don't even like cats)

its not so much what she done, its she had totally no reason to do it that's shocked everyone
cat come over to her being all friendly on its own doorstep and she decided
to grab it and chuck it in the bin
this is not normal
am glad the evil cow is getting such a hard time now I hope she loses her banking job and gets forced out of her house
and ends up living in a wheelie bin.
when people start saying its only a cat its or only a dog i can mistreat it

Sure its not normal but looking at the bigger picture (forest for the trees and all that).
All im saying is that this stuff happens everyday the hit and run thing was an example, old news now is it not?
Interesting attitude. Because there is so much terrible stuff going on, it does not matter if I do something slightly less terrible. As all the other stuff balances it out.
An expression my mum used to use is apt I think.
