It would be best waiting for the 1GB model from MSI. It has a fantastic cooler and performs very well.

I've asked someone on Aria if they could pop over and let you know when the MSI GTX 460 1GB models should be available again.

I'd prefer the MSI if I were in the market for one in the first place. I think it runs cooler and quieter. Fairly sure it overclocks much better too.

Went for the MSI GTX460 1GB, under normal load it is very quiet & even playing cames there is not much noise. I may get another on payday & sli them.

Thanks mate, I was pretty surprised myself. My room is hot and to be honest I do not think the 800D is the best for aircooling, I would like to get into watercooling but would not know where to start & do not know what it would cost.

xspc do some great water-cooling kits i bought one myself for £90 which included coolant, and the 800d would be a great case to watercool.

i wonder how high you could overclock the 460 on water

yep, all the 460 cards seem to fit this bill.

after the msi and asus cards with uprated cooling a voltage tweaks i dont think you can say there is much between any of the other cards.

My hacked up review of GTX 460 768MB Cyclones in SLI (http://forums.aria.co.uk/showthread.php?t=29875)

In my case because of the board I use (EX58-UD3R) the cards in SLI are too close for my liking and so watercooling is a good option. Alternatively a side fan should suffice.

I've seen EK do some full cover water blocks for the 460 which will fit these cards, but at 75euros each I'm not sure I want to jump the gun yet. Still need to see what kind of overclocking and subsequent temperatures I get in SLI.

Yes mate, It's also quieter when idle and playing games. I have not oc'd it yet but will do sometime soon and I have no doubt the improvement will be bigger.
