View Full Version : Got these, anyone want?
I was just stripping an old PC for the motherboard standoffs and found it had two PCI slot convertors in it

They basically turn a standard PCI slot on its side, not sure what they could be used for but someone might find them useful (for a mod or something).
So if anyone wants them let me know and they are yours.
Can I nab these please? :)

Not really, my post was 6 minutes after he created the thread. I'm surprise no one else beat me to it to be honest :)

Sure, PM me your postage details and I'll post them this week.
Also can you let me know what you will use them for (doesnt affect decision just curious).
Could be really useful those, don't think I've seen them before.

Posted on the way home from work.
would be useful for a pci-e x16 slot to mount a graphics card if you have a pci-e x1 slot inbetween the 2 :D

YOu can buy "riser cards" as they are normally called.
Used in extremely low profile cases.
So what are they for???
The connect to a PCI slot and enable the user to connect a PCI device to it at 90degrees to normal, useful for internal only PCI cards, modders, testers etc.
Some slimline media cases use them to flip a card on the side as they only have half size slots at the back.
