Assuming

two flying monkeys could lift the average person (factoring in babies, fat guys and 'little people')
a world population of 6 billion
you only need to kill one third of the world to make people fear you unquestionably
to kill a person will take 5 minutes (grab them - fly up and drop from a great height)
you want to make a big impact as quickly as possible
50% of your flying monkeys will be shot (this may well be more, but also could be reduced with the use of body armour - but then you'd need more monkeys)

4000 flying monkeys will help you take over the world in a time period of 190 years (if all monkeys work 24/7)

So you may well need more...

I'd suggest you place your first order for 4 million - then you can simultaneously attack multiple cities at once...

Remember though - you need to forward plan and put proper structures in place to make sure that you maximise the potential of the flying monkeys - you don't want disorganised chaos...

Also - once you've dismantled the various armed forces of a country - you need to keep some flying monkeys in situ to keep down the numbers of insurgents and rebels - you'll also need either some highly trained flying monkeys who can make strategic decision - or some people to run the army...

I'm not sure it'll be easy - but you can count me in!

We need to find where to get them form, I?m thinking off asking Mr Burn's where he got his from and the Wicked Witch of the West (wizard of ozz) where she got hers from as they are better ones!
