Trick question.
Do you search for a named product? Or a "thing"?
Something like "22-inch LCD display".

power fuse0
20-08-10, 23:45
Congrats my friend, can't answer that though, dunno much about raid
Mr. Strawberry
20-08-10, 23:45
ran out of thanks
thank you
you'll have to reinstall windows 7 when you put it in RAID.
as RAIDing it wipes the both the disks clean.
congrats btw
Mr. Strawberry
21-08-10, 00:33
even the SSD when i wont be touching that
thank you
even the SSD when i wont be touching that
thank you
not the ssd.
it will only affect drives that are involved.
I think with RAID 0, it writes onto both the discs at the same time as it is 'striped' (whenever i think of stripes, i think of parallel lines), so therefore data is split between the 2 discs. That's why you can't have one drive with the install on.
Mr. Strawberry
21-08-10, 00:46
so with my OS being on the SSD i can put the 2 HDDs in raid 0 and not have to reinstall windows?
so with my OS being on the SSD i can put the 2 HDDs in raid 0 and not have to reinstall windows?
yup, SSD should be untouched
you WILL lose everything on the HDD though.
Mr. Strawberry
21-08-10, 00:48
thats ok can back that up
just cba to reinstall windows 7 again
