New HDD HELP !!!!

Just got a new SATA2 HDD, and ive installed it.

Now, my local disk is caleld 'Local Disk [I]'

How can i change this letter to C?

As all my drives have now changed letter... SOS!

Hi,

I see you have a memory card reader. What you need to do is enter BIOS and disable USB. Save, Exit, and then reinstall XP.

When it reinstalled then enable USB again.

overkill, go to control panel/administrative tools/computer management on the center pane double click storage then again on the center pane double click 'disk management' then you see a list of disks and their partitions, right click a partition and select the change drive letter option

Cheers. When i Do That tho I Get The Message \"Windows Cannot Modify The Drive Letter Of Your System Volume or Boot Drive!\"
