Nope hate it with a passion tbh.

My old flat mate used to be big into all things trekky and i'd refuse to let him anywhere near the front room with anything trekky.

my parents love it so i used to watch it as a kid, so I've seen pretty much every episode, but I admit I do find them quite enjoyable, especially the multi-part ones with a more interesting storyline

I think anyone who doesnt like Trek should be shipped off to a dark rainy, volcanic island and left to live out the rest of their natural lives away from us normal folk :P

I don't mind it. Will occasionally watch it if I find it when looking through the channels on tv. More of a star wars fan tbh.

what on earth!?

not keen on startrek, but i have to say the vid in OP is LOL and wouldn't mind watching the last film which came out - the one with Syler from heroes - trailer looked good. (can it be watched independently of seeing the rest)

Definitely, it's the start of the whole ST story, so no particular back stories you need to know to enjoy the film.

It's actually quite good, well I liked it anyhoo. :)

Trek's great - perfect eating your dinner to TV.

KAHHHHHHHHHHHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trek is essential to modern living!! How would we get out of a supermarket with a full load of shopping without the woosh-swish opening doors??

And dont forget, TOS featured not only the first inter-racial (Kirk - Uhura), kiss shown on US TV. but also the first inter-species kiss (Spock - Nurse Chapel)!!

Strangely, the US networks were more afraid of the former and nearly stopped it being broadcast!!

I'm somewhere between "It's ok" and "Love it". I think it is "Good" and I enjoy it as much as Stargate :)
