Razer Imperator.
I took this mouse back after 1 day. The mouse signal would just totally vanish and would need to be unplugged and plugged back in again for it to work. Not good when your fighting the infected. This is just a heads up in case anyone is thinking of buying one, I did also try the firmware update on Razors site. Still no good. Google is your friend.

Totally.
If not get the Kova.
Funny that your Razor did that since my Kova did it a while back but magically fixed itself.
Thanks guys, I will check out the 'Roccat Kone' mice

You got a point mate. That mouse and mat was £66 pound. So was it 16 times better than yours, No. :o
it moves a cursor and clicks buttons the same as mine:

if you gamed seriously on pc fps (rather than ps3 :closet) then you would understand
i know alot of people claim better mouses give better pin point accuracy - but theres only so many buttons and switches you can put on it before it becomes unpractical and on a day to day basis the difference wouldnt be noticeable

perhaps, with hindsight, the thread title needs change?
I still swear by the Mouse I bought last year!
Gigabyte GM-M6880 Laser, comfortable, stylish and under a tenner :D
I used to love my MS Intellimouse Optical for gaming and used it for 5-6years, but found it a little small for my hand and after a few hours of gaming and normal usage it would become uncomfortable.
I definitely notice an improvement with my Logitech G5 in being more comfortable for extended use and when the polling rate is modified to 1000Hz and mouse on max DPI the accuracy is better too.
I use a MS Intellimouse optical for gaming and have no problems what so ever :/ dont see the need for such a flashy mouse.....Thats just me :D
Stepping up from a cheap, nasty, imho, mouse to a Razer Copperhead was a big chore at first and i hated it, however as it was a present i stuck with it and now i wouldn't use anything other than a high DPI mouse :thumb:. The copperhead is sat next to me here at work and i use an Ideazon Reaper (upto 3200dpi) at home.
Best thing about them is no one likes to use my pc as they are used to flailing about with an 800dpi or less mouse so the cursor flys all over the screen, its quite amusing to watch them some times .
Just my opinion :D

This.
My friend has a REALLY sucky microsoft mouse.
I set him loose with my Roccat Kova and told him to close a window and it took him a whole minute because the cursor just flew around the screen.
You get used to making small, precise movements though.
I adore my Roccat Kova - I can't use cheap mice anymore :|
