Mine used to do that when I unplugged a certain USB pen drive after I'd shut down :?

What motherboard do you have as it might just be the motherboard that does it.

I have a Asus P5W DH Delux.

Whats really wired is when i first got my PC from Aria when i turned off my PC it would turn itself on automaticly even though i didnt touch anything. i mean it still does that but only does it about 2 times a month but now with this problem with the G15 it does it all the time i take the dam thing out of the USB Hub.

Not sure but could it be something like a \"Wake on keyboard\" setting in the BIOS?

Oh, hmm that rules out the cause.

which virus killing software are you using ????

I had an incident where if my mum unplugged her digital camera it would reset the computer, it turned out to be zonealarm causing the issue

i highly dubt that would be the cause for me problem because when my pc is turned off it turns it self back on, so...... its somthing to be with my USB drives i think.

What the hell guys. I'm pretty sure this isn't some demonic weirdness, and is instead just perfectly normal \"Wake on USB\" behaviour...

:S

I checked the BIOS and Wake On USB is disabled. So this is strange.

Does the keyboard have a power button on it? above the scroll lock key etc?

I know people who use this button for powering their pc on and off, if your keyboard has this key perhaps unplugging the keyboard triggers this? :o

So don't unplug the keyboard?

Have you tried connecting it directly to your PC without the hub?

I think somewhere wake on USB must be enabled though.

Just occurred to me that it could be a jumper on your motherboard. Check your mobo manual for a USB Power On Jumper! I should think it will override the BIOS settings.
