Hey everyone.

Over at BenchTec UK we are hosting a competition.

Now, we are known for overclocking but we thought it would be different to put overclockers out off their comfort zone and ask them to under-clock.

We are giving away a stunning kit. Click here (http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=256&c1=1&c2=3) to see which kit is up for grabs.

So, what have you got to do.

You need to:
A) Sign up to the forums here (http://benchtec.co.uk/forums/register.php).
B) Reply to this (http://benchtec.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=84955#post84955) thread.
C) Enjoy!

What you need:
Any DDR3.
Any motherboard on any platform.

That's all. The LOWEST frequency wins this stunning kit.

Thanks guys.

Ooh... edit: I hope this is okay with you guys. If it isn't could you please let me know!

You're going to need a DDR3 socket 775 board.

Just trust me on that one ;)

good point.. i see where you're coming from.
Ok, i'm out :P, i'll give it a go though :P
I already didn't see how my ram that's designed to be fast would be able to do the 170Mhz at the moment.

Easy. It's just about lowering the volts and the base clock and use the lowest FSB:RAM combo :)

775 wins because it has a 1:1 ratio.
